I was with the 56th combat suport group, 56th security police squadron,
military working dog section (k-9), dog handler,AFSC 81150A,"PUPPY
PUSHER"
...bussiness cards read-"Bring'n the bite to the fight".
Working perimeter defences,POL, weapon storage areas,alert areas,officers
and flight crew quartrs, flight line Etc. We often were used to find booby
traps, trip wires and were used in drug interdiction. I once found my self
in Laos at some "radar sight" also sat on a few a/c wrecks. As well as some
tracking w the Thai A/F. The Thai's had there owen dogs and were "Great".

I absolutly loved my year in Thailand in spite of some scary times. My dog
"Ango" ear tag ok31 saved my bacon no less than three times over there. I
worked the night of 21 nov 70 the night of the "raid" on son tay. As I knew
something was up, I did not know what until some time later.A proud moment
non the less!!
