RECOGNITION FEATURES: Two-stage, ground-mounted missile, found on single launchers; narrow pencil-like body with groups of four stabilization fins middle and rear; found in groups of six in a star-like formation

MISSILE RANGE: 55,000 meters
                                   Maximum altitude -24,000 meters 
                                   Minimum altitude -1,000 meters

EMPLOYMENT: Grouped in batteries and organic to the Combined Arms Army; defends high altitude approaches to static assets in rear area. Restricted capability against low altitude targets
